How can I pay my citation?
Why was my payment rejected online?
My citation is due today, can I mail my payment today?
When is my payment due?
Pay online using your credit card or debit card. Payments can also be made by using our IVR phone system or by sending your payment by mail.
To avoid increased fines and to pay the amount shown on your citation, you must pay within 21 days of the date shown on your citation (or 14 days from the mailing date on the notice of delinquent parking violation.)
If you do not pay your parking citation, late fees will be assessed and a DMV registration hold may be placed on your vehicle or sent to a collections agency. Vehicles with more than five outstanding parking violations risk being towed.
Payments are rejected online for one of two reasons: incorrect account information entered at the time of payment OR non-sufficient funds.
If your citation is due today, we recommend paying it online. We go by the postmark date on the envelope we receive. As long as the postmark date on the envelope is within the time guidelines, we will accept the payment. If your payment is due today, make sure it goes out in today's mail to be postmarked with today's date.
